Interactive Enterprises Limited (Company No. 137228C)
Last updated: July 2026
1. About Us
atthejobs.com is owned and operated by Interactive Enterprises Limited, a company operating in UK (Company Number 137228C).
atthejobs.com is a local professional platform with separate “doors” or product areas (currently including Trades, Health, Legal, Teachers, Careers, Property and Marketplace), plus community programmes such as Oddjobs Giveback where enabled. Which doors and programmes are available may change over time or by configuration. By creating an account or using the platform (including Marketplace, optional stall upgrades, optional eBay import, Property partner tools, and Giveback votes or prize draws), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Our Role (all doors)
We provide software and marketplace-style tools that help users discover, contact, and work with local professionals and organisations; list or obtain goods via Marketplace; and (where enabled) take part in community Giveback votes and thank-you prize draws. Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing:
- We are a technology platform provider, not a party to contracts between users (for example customer and tradesperson/apprentice, patient/client and practice/firm, learner and teacher/tutor, candidate and employer/agency, Real Estate partner and enquirer, or Marketplace buyer and seller).
- We do not employ tradespeople, apprentices, clinicians, solicitors, teachers or tutors, recruitment consultants, estate agents, or Marketplace sellers as staff of atthejobs.com merely because they hold an account.
- We do not guarantee that any user will find work, hire someone, receive an enquiry, fill a vacancy, sell or obtain an item, win a prize, or achieve any particular commercial result.
- Pricing, scope of work, clinical or legal care, tuition arrangements, employment decisions, property negotiations, Marketplace item condition, and off-platform payments are agreed between the relevant users — not by atthejobs.com.
- We do not hold Marketplace purchase money, trade job funds, property deposits, or professional fees in escrow unless we expressly launch a different product later.
- Marketplace sales stay 0% commission on the deal between buyer and seller. Optional paid Marketplace stall plans (where offered) are for visibility and shop-front polish only — not a cut of sale proceeds.
Different doors work differently (job board vs browse-and-enquire vs careers referrals vs Property listings vs Marketplace classifieds vs Teachers tuition). The sections below set out door-specific rules. If a door or programme is disabled on the live site, those rules apply only if and when it is available.
3. Account Types and Eligibility
You may register under one or more account types depending on what we offer (for example Customer; Tradesperson / Tradie including the Apprentice plan tier; Teacher / tutor / instructor; Medical practice; Legal firm; Recruitment / Agency; Real Estate partner; or a customer/Marketplace seller account). Marketplace listing is available to registered accounts where that product is enabled; free consumer browse may also be available. You must:
- Provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
- Keep login credentials secure and not share accounts in a way that breaches these Terms or applicable law.
- Only use an account type you are entitled to use (for example, a medical practice account only if you operate a legitimate practice eligible to use that workspace; a Teacher account only if you offer legitimate tuition or instruction).
- Comply with all licences, registrations, insurance, and professional rules that apply to the services you advertise or deliver in UK.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or create safety, legal, clinical, educational, employment, or fraud risk.
4. Trades door (customers, tradespeople and apprentices)
The Trades door is a local services marketplace: customers can post jobs and receive interest, site visits, or estimates; tradespeople and apprentices can discover opportunities, quote, message, and manage work-related tools (such as diary features) under their plan.
- Customers may use core consumer features without a paid platform subscription (subject to fair use and these Terms).
- Tradespeople access paid features under a monthly plan. The current ladder includes Apprentice (entry trainee plan — bids show an Apprentice badge to customers; limited features compared with full solo plans), Trade, Pro, Elite, and Small Business (Firm HQ for multi-crew companies). Current prices and features are shown on the site and may change; the price you accept at checkout (or as updated under these Terms) applies to your subscription period.
- Apprentice is a trades membership tier (not a separate legal entity type). Apprentices remain responsible for work they agree to perform and must not misrepresent their skill level; the platform badge is a visibility aid for customers, not a regulated apprenticeship scheme or training contract with atthejobs.com.
- Contracts for trade work, pricing, scheduling, materials, and payment for jobs are between the customer and the tradesperson/apprentice. atthejobs.com does not take commission on job value and does not hold job funds in escrow.
- Tradespeople and apprentices must only offer services they can lawfully provide, and must not misrepresent qualifications, insurance, or availability.
5. Health door (practices and patients / customers)
The Health door provides a practice product workspace and public browse-and-enquire surfaces for medical and related health practices. It is not a clinical records system, electronic patient record (EPR), telemedicine diagnosis service, or emergency service.
- Patients / customers may browse practice listings and submit appointment or contact requests. Submitting a request does not create a doctor-patient relationship with atthejobs.com and does not guarantee an appointment.
- Practices manage enquiries, profile/presence, and related tools under their plan. Clinical care, triage, records, prescribing, and clinical decisions remain solely the practice’s responsibility under applicable professional and legal rules.
- Not medical advice. Nothing on atthejobs.com (including OJ Bot or marketing content) is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For emergencies use local emergency services (for example 999) or appropriate urgent care - do not rely on the platform.
- Do not paste clinical notes, full patient histories, or unnecessary special-category health detail into the platform or into Ask OJ. Keep enquiry reason lines high-level.
- We do not verify clinical fitness to practise beyond any product fields or admin checks we choose to run; practices remain responsible for their own compliance.
6. Legal door (firms and clients)
The Legal door provides a firm / chambers-style product workspace and public browse-and-enquire surfaces. It is not case-management software, a court filing system, or a substitute for regulated legal advice.
- Clients may browse firm listings and request contact or consultations. A request does not create a solicitor-client relationship with atthejobs.com and does not guarantee a retainer.
- Firms manage enquiries, profile/presence, and related tools under their plan. Legal advice, conflict checks, retainers, client money, and court work remain solely the firm’s responsibility under applicable professional rules.
- Not legal advice. Nothing on atthejobs.com (including OJ Bot or marketing content) is legal advice. Users should take independent legal advice where appropriate.
- Do not paste full confidential case files, privileged material, or unnecessary client identifiers into the platform or into Ask OJ. Prefer high-level labels (for example “conveyancing enquiry”).
- We do not guarantee regulated status or competence of any firm; firms remain responsible for their own compliance and insurance.
7. Teachers door (tutors, instructors and learners)
Where enabled, the Teachers door provides a learning / tuition product workspace and public browse-and-enquire surfaces for tutors, driving instructors, educational teachers, and similar instructors. It is not a school MIS, exam board, regulated awarding body, or a public homework / “post a lesson request” job board.
- Learners / customers may browse teacher listings and submit private lesson or enquiry requests. A request does not create a tuition contract with atthejobs.com and does not guarantee a booking.
- Teachers manage enquiries, profile/presence, and related tools under their plan (for example Solo tutor or Studio / centre). Lesson content, safeguarding where applicable, qualifications, and fees remain solely the teacher’s responsibility under applicable professional and legal rules.
- Not formal education advice. Nothing on atthejobs.com (including OJ Bot or marketing content) is formal educational assessment, careers advice that replaces a regulated adviser, or a substitute for school or college enrolment.
- Do not paste unnecessary personal data about children or special-category information into the platform or into Ask OJ. Keep enquiry reason lines high-level.
- We do not guarantee fitness to teach or regulated instructor status beyond any product fields or admin checks we choose to run; teachers remain responsible for their own compliance, DBS/vetting where required, and insurance.
8. Careers door (candidates and recruitment agencies)
The Careers door lists vacancies supplied or managed by partner recruitment agencies (and related agency tools). Careers is open to agencies who register as partners; it is not an exclusive single-agency product unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
- Candidates may browse and filter public vacancies and use apply / referral flows. Applying does not guarantee an interview, offer, or employment. Employment decisions are made by employers and/or agencies - not by atthejobs.com.
- Agencies receive a recruitment workspace (for example vacancies, categories, feeds/sync, referrals, analytics, and billing) under their plan. Each agency is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of its vacancy data, equal opportunity obligations, and data it processes about candidates.
- Public Careers pages are candidate-facing. Agency branding on public cards or labels (where enabled) must not be misleading. Warm introductions and referral tracking are platform features; placement contracts remain between the agency, employer, and candidate as applicable.
- atthejobs.com is not the employer of candidates listed via Careers, is not an employment agency itself solely by operating the software, and does not guarantee hire outcomes or fee recovery between commercial parties.
- Do not use Careers tools to post unlawful discrimination, fake vacancies, or personal data you have no right to process.
9. Property door (Real Estate partners)
Where enabled, the Property door lets buyers and renters browse partner stock, and lets Real Estate partners list homes (manually and, on higher plans, via permitted site feeds) with detail pages, maps, and enquiries on atthejobs.com.
- Property negotiations, viewings, deposits, and agency fees are between the enquirer and the Real Estate partner (and any client of that partner) — not with atthejobs.com.
- Partners must only list stock they are entitled to market, keep details accurate, and respect plan limits (for example Solo may allow only one home and no scrapers).
- Feed / scraper tools (where on the plan) may only be used on sites and data the partner has permission to sync. We may suspend feeds that abuse third-party sites or break these Terms.
- atthejobs.com is not an estate agency, does not hold client money, and does not guarantee sale or let outcomes.
10. Marketplace (goods classifieds)
Marketplace is a local classifieds product for goods only — items for sale at a fixed asking price, or free giveaways. It is not the trades job board, not a hiring marketplace, and not an auction platform. Listing goods and completing a sale can be free of platform commission as set out below.
10.1 What Marketplace is (and is not)
- Allowed: physical goods and similar tangible items you have the right to sell or give away, listed with a fixed price or as free.
- Not allowed: offering or seeking trade services, labour, hire of people, professional services, medical or legal services, jobs, rentals of people, or anything that belongs on another door. Do not use Marketplace to circumvent the job board or professional doors.
- No bidding / no auctions on atthejobs.com. There is no auction, reserve bidding, or live bid war on Marketplace. Prices are fixed asks (or free).
- 0% commission on sales. atthejobs.com does not take a cut of Marketplace sale proceeds. Optional paid stall plans (see below) are for polish and visibility only — not a share of the deal price.
- We are not the seller or buyer of items listed by users, and we do not take title to goods.
10.2 Payment is outside atthejobs.com
Payment for Marketplace items is agreed and completed directly between buyer and seller (for example cash, bank transfer, or other methods they choose). atthejobs.com does not process, hold, collect, guarantee, or escrow Marketplace purchase money. You are responsible for safe payment practices and for any tax or legal obligations that apply to your sale or gift.
10.3 Free listing, stalls, and optional upgrades
- Core listing. Where Marketplace is open, registered users may list eligible goods under fair-use and moderation rules without paying a percentage of the sale to atthejobs.com.
- Seller stalls. You may have a public stall / shop-front profile (for example a stall page showing your live listings). Free stalls may include basic presence; paid tiers (for example Stall Plus, Stall Pro, Shop front — names and prices as shown on the site) unlock extra polish and visibility (for example theme options, higher listing or photo limits, bumps/highlights, wanted ads, multi-language helpers, or other features we publish for that plan).
- What you pay for (if anything). Paid stall subscriptions or one-off boosts (where offered) are charges for platform features and promotion, not commission on goods sold. Cancelling a stall plan does not entitle you to a share of past buyer–seller deals.
- Wanted / other listing types. Where we enable “wanted”, freebies, drafts, watchlists, seller ratings, or similar tools, they remain subject to these Terms, moderation, and any plan limits.
- Messaging. Interest messages or listing threads between buyers and sellers are for arranging collection and sale only. Do not use them for harassment, spam, or off-platform scams.
- We may change freemium limits, stall features, or prices for future periods with reasonable notice via the site or dashboard.
10.4 Your responsibilities as a seller or lister
- You must have the legal right to sell or give away each item (including that it is not stolen and does not infringe others’ rights).
- Listings must be accurate and not misleading (condition, price, location, photos). Photos may be re-encoded or resized for safety and performance as described under Content Moderation.
- You must not list prohibited, illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, or restricted goods under applicable law, or content that breaches our moderation rules.
- You are responsible for meeting buyers, handover, and any warranty or consumer law duties that apply to you as a seller — not atthejobs.com.
- You may withdraw, mark sold/gone, or delete listings where the product allows (including permanent delete of declined or ended listings where provided).
- You must not manipulate ratings, invent fake demand, or use bots to spam Marketplace.
10.5 Buyers and enquiries
- Buyers buy at their own risk. Marketplace deals are between buyer and seller. You are responsible for inspecting items, agreeing payment and collection, and deciding whether to proceed with any purchase or gift.
- Interest messages and meet-ups are between users. Inspect items and use common sense; do not send payment to strangers without safeguards you accept.
- Listing prices and availability may change; a listing is not a binding offer from atthejobs.com.
- atthejobs.com does not guarantee item quality, safety, legality of the counterparty, or successful collection.
- Saving, watching, or rating listings (where enabled) is for convenience only and creates no purchase obligation.
10.6 Moderation of Marketplace listings
Listings may be checked by automated filters, AI-assisted moderation, and/or human staff before or after publish. We may refuse, hold for second review, suspend, or remove listings that appear to breach these Terms (including services-as-goods, scams, prohibited content, or spam). We may require account login to sell or message while still allowing public browse where guest browse is enabled.
10.7 Optional eBay import
Where enabled, you may connect an eBay seller account via eBay’s official sign-in (OAuth) to import active listings into Marketplace.
- Connecting eBay is optional. You authorise atthejobs.com to access eBay data within the permissions you grant on eBay (for example inventory / selling scopes) and to store tokens and listing identifiers needed for import.
- Imported content becomes a Marketplace listing under these Terms. You remain responsible for its accuracy and lawfulness on atthejobs.com.
- Auctions: Marketplace has no bidding. eBay auctions or auction-format listings may be imported as a fixed asking price on Marketplace (for example using prices returned by eBay’s APIs). That does not run a live eBay auction on atthejobs.com and does not replace eBay’s own sale process unless you also complete a sale on eBay under eBay’s rules.
- eBay fees, policies, and sales on eBay remain between you and eBay. atthejobs.com does not collect eBay fees or pay eBay on your behalf.
- You must comply with eBay’s terms and only import listings you are allowed to copy or re-list. If eBay notifies us of account deletion/closure for an eBay user, we will remove or de-link eBay tokens and related identifiers we hold as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You can stop using the connection; we may revoke tokens if the link is abused or security requires it.
- Import at your own risk. Listing the same item on eBay and Marketplace (or elsewhere) at the same time can lead to double selling, cancelled sales, buyer disputes, and platform sanctions. You alone are responsible for ending or marking sold the correct listings, stock accuracy, and any conflict between marketplaces.
- Interactive Enterprises Limited and atthejobs.com are not liable for double selling, inventory conflicts, eBay policy breaches, failed or duplicate sales, or losses arising from eBay import or dual listing. Import tools are provided as a convenience only.
- Before import you must choose Marketplace categories for selected items; nothing is published until you confirm that step.
Data handling for Marketplace and eBay is described further in our Privacy Policy.
11. Oddjobs Giveback (charity vote and monthly prizes)
Where enabled, Oddjobs Giveback is our community programme: registered members may vote for a local charity each quarter, and we may run monthly thank-you prize draws for eligible members. Public pages describe the spirit of the programme; this section is the binding legal description.
11.1 Charity votes
- Who can vote. Typically one vote per registered account per quarter, while voting is open for that install / market. Guest visitors without an account cannot cast a binding vote unless we expressly say otherwise.
- Charity list. Eligible charities are those we list for this Oddjobs market (for example local or island organisations). We may add, remove, recategorise, or suspend charities for legal, reputation, or operational reasons.
- Outcome. At the end of a quarter (or when we lock results), the charity with the highest valid votes may be designated the community pick. We may break ties or void votes that appear fraudulent, duplicate, or automated.
- Donations. We may donate a share of funds we designate for Giveback to the winning charity (or otherwise support that charity as we reasonably decide). Donation size, percentage, and bookkeeping are internal and not published on the public site. Nothing in marketing copy creates a trust, escrow, or ring-fence over specific platform revenues for a particular user.
- Voting does not create a charitable trust for your benefit, a transferable right, or a claim to a particular cash amount for any charity or user.
11.2 Monthly prize draws
- Where prize draws are enabled, we may run separate pools (for example a tradie / professional pool and a customer pool) on a monthly or other published cycle.
- Eligibility. Generally active, non-suspended accounts in the relevant role pool for this install. We may require verification of identity or contact details before paying a prize. Staff and accounts we reasonably believe are abusing the system may be excluded.
- Selection. Winners are chosen at random (or by another fair method we publish) from eligible accounts. Prize amounts and currency are as set by us for that draw (displayed on Giveback where we choose to show them) and may change for future periods.
- Nature of prizes. Prizes are goodwill thank-yous for being part of the community. They are not related to Marketplace sale commissions (there are none on sale proceeds), not a lottery open to the general public without an account, and not consideration for any particular purchase. Entry is free with an eligible account; no purchase is required beyond ordinary platform use.
- Payment of prizes. We may pay winners by bank transfer or other method we agree with the winner. If we cannot contact a winner within a reasonable time, we may redraw or void that prize. Tax treatment of prizes is the winner’s responsibility where applicable.
- One win limits. We may limit how often the same account can win in a pool (for example one win per pool per month) as published in programme rules or settings.
- We may cancel, postpone, or amend a draw for operational or legal reasons. Our decision on eligibility and winners is final except for fraud or clear system error we choose to correct.
11.3 Not a regulated gambling product
Oddjobs Giveback votes and thank-you draws are a community programme operated by Interactive Enterprises Limited. They are not marketed as commercial betting or a prize competition that requires a paid ticket. If local law requires additional disclosures or restrictions, we may adjust or pause the programme for that install.
11.4 Your conduct
- Do not create fake accounts, vote farms, or bots to influence charity outcomes or prize pools.
- Do not harass charities, winners, or other members in connection with Giveback.
- We may void votes, disqualify accounts, or withhold prizes where we reasonably suspect abuse.
More product detail may appear on the public Giveback page; if there is any difference, this section of the Terms prevails.
12. Plans, Free Trial, and PayPal Billing
Some account types use paid monthly plans (for example tradie Apprentice / Trade / Pro / Elite / Small Business; teacher Solo tutor / Studio; medical Solo / Practice; legal Standalone / Practice; recruitment Essential / Agency / Agency Pro; Real Estate Solo / Essential / Firm / Firm Pro; Marketplace Stall Plus / Pro / Shop front — names and features as shown on the site at the time of purchase). Customers using free consumer features, free Marketplace listing (0% commission on sale proceeds), or free stalls do not pay a platform subscription for those free features alone.
12.1 Free trial
Eligible professional accounts may receive a free trial (length shown at signup or in the dashboard; often up to 30 days unless we state otherwise). During the trial you may use plan features without starting a PayPal subscription. When the trial ends, access to paid features may be limited until you subscribe, unless we grant continued complimentary access.
12.2 PayPal subscriptions
Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions processed by PayPal where PayPal is enabled. When you subscribe you may be redirected to PayPal to approve the subscription. Your use of PayPal is also subject to PayPal’s own terms and privacy policy.
- atthejobs.com does not store your full card or bank account numbers; those details are handled by PayPal.
- Billing frequency is monthly unless otherwise stated at checkout.
- You can cancel from your atthejobs.com billing page and/or your PayPal account. Cancellation typically stops future renewals; access may continue until the end of the period already paid for, subject to PayPal’s status and our system records.
- Failed payments, chargebacks, or a cancelled/suspended PayPal subscription may result in reduced or suspended access to paid features.
- Taxes (if any) and currency conversion are handled as shown by PayPal at checkout.
PayPal may provide consumer protections on eligible transactions under PayPal’s own policies. Those protections, where they apply, relate to the subscription payment made to Interactive Enterprises Limited - not to cash, bank transfer, placement fees, professional fees, or other payments you arrange directly with other users.
12.3 Off-platform payments
Payment for trade work, professional services, recruitment placement fees, property-related fees, and Marketplace goods is agreed and settled outside atthejobs.com unless we expressly introduce a different product later. atthejobs.com does not hold those funds in escrow and is not responsible for non-payment, overpayment, fee disputes between commercial parties, quality of services delivered offline, or condition of goods exchanged via Marketplace. Marketplace remains 0% commission on sale proceeds even when a seller pays for an optional stall plan.
12.4 Tradie Win Guarantee (“Tradie promise”)
Where we advertise a Tradie promise or Win Guarantee for trades memberships, the following applies (and prevails over marketing short-form copy if there is any difference):
- Who it covers. Active paid trades subscriptions on plans shown on the site (for example Apprentice, Trade, Pro, Elite, or Small Business). It does not apply during free trial, to complimentary “free for life” accounts, to Marketplace stall plans, or to non-trades doors (Health, Legal, Teachers, Careers, Real Estate, Customers, Marketplace, or Giveback).
- What counts as a “win”. A job win is a customer-accepted formal estimate / award recorded on atthejobs.com for that trades account in the relevant billing cycle.
- The promise. If, during a paid billing cycle, your account records zero wins, you may receive one free month of platform subscription (typically by refunding or not retaining the next qualifying PayPal subscription charge, as implemented in our billing systems).
- Frequency cap. You may receive at most one free month once every six months. After a free month is awarded, the next five calendar months are ineligible for a further free month under this promise. You become eligible again from the first day of the sixth calendar month after the award month.
- No stacking. Only one unused free-month credit may be outstanding at a time.
- Fair use and abuse. We may withhold, reverse, or refuse the promise where we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, self-dealing, fake or collusive awards, account sharing, suspension, chargebacks, or other conduct that undermines the guarantee. We may require reasonable cooperation to verify activity.
- Operational limits. Fulfilment depends on PayPal subscription status, payment webhooks, and system records. We are not obliged to award a free month for periods when the account was not on an active paid subscription, or where billing data is incomplete.
- Changes. We may change or withdraw the Win Guarantee for future periods with reasonable notice via the site or dashboard; changes will not remove a free-month credit already properly earned and still outstanding, except for abuse.
Marketing summaries (for example “one free month — once every 6 months”) are for convenience only; this section is the binding description of the promise.
13. Content Moderation (including AI-assisted review)
To help keep the platform safe and usable, we review certain user-submitted content before or after it is published. This can include job posts, profiles, portfolio material, public mini-sites / presence pages, vacancy text, Property listings, Marketplace listings (including text and images imported from eBay), stall content, and similar content.
Review may be carried out by:
- Automated systems and human staff (including local filters that do not call an external AI); and/or
- AI-assisted moderation (for example powered by xAI / Grok), which may classify, summarise, or flag content against our policies. When that path is enabled, relevant text, short excerpts, or listing metadata may be sent to the AI provider solely for moderation and safety review.
Trade job posts must be for trade / home-service work. Requests that belong on the Health, Legal or Teachers doors (for example medical appointments, clinical care, solicitor or legal advice, or private tuition enquiries) may be held for review or refused on the trades board so they are not shown to tradespeople by mistake. Marketplace listings that seek or offer services / hire of people (instead of goods) may be refused or removed and users directed to the correct door.
AI-assisted review is a support tool. It may auto-approve content that appears low-risk, hold content for a second look, or recommend rejection. We may also require manual admin approval in some cases. Outcomes are not guaranteed to be perfect; we may reverse a decision, request changes, or remove content at any time if it breaches these Terms or applicable law.
You must not post content that is unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, spam, or that infringes others’ rights. We may refuse, edit, hide, or remove such content and may restrict your account.
Photos and other media you upload (for example job photos, Marketplace listing photos, profile pictures, portfolio or gallery images, and similar) may be technically processed by our systems. That can include virus/safety checks, validating that a file is a real image, re-encoding or recompressing, resizing or orienting for display, stripping hidden metadata, and storing a platform-optimised copy. We do this for security, performance, and storage - not to change the meaning of your listing or job. You still own your content (subject to the licence you grant us to host and display it on atthejobs.com). We may refuse files that fail safety or format checks.
Optional AI helpers (for example job-draft tips or OJ Bot answers that use a paid AI path) only process content you choose to submit to those features; they are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
14. Ratings, Reviews, and Feedback
Where ratings or reviews are enabled (for example after trade jobs, or practice/firm feedback surfaces), they must be honest and based on genuine experience. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake, defamatory, or otherwise breach these Terms. Ratings are user opinions and do not constitute a guarantee by atthejobs.com of any professional’s work or fitness.
15. Disputes Between Users
We encourage users to communicate directly and fairly to resolve issues (customer and tradesperson; patient/client and practice/firm; candidate and agency/employer; Real Estate partner and enquirer; Marketplace buyer and seller). While we may assist where reasonably possible with platform misuse, any contractual, clinical, legal, employment, property, goods, or payment dispute about services or items exchanged offline must ultimately be resolved between those parties. We are not a court, regulator, insurer, adjudicator of trade work, estate agency regulator, goods marketplace ombudsman, clinical board, employment tribunal, or law society. Disputes about Giveback votes or prizes should be raised with us first; our decision on programme administration is final except for clear error or fraud.
16. OJ Bot and In-App Helpers
OJ Bot and related helpers provide product how-to guidance and navigation inside atthejobs.com. They are not a substitute for professional advice. In particular they must not be used as medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or employment advice. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, or unnecessary personal or special-category data into chat tools.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, Interactive Enterprises Limited and atthejobs.com shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, financial loss, injury, or any other issue arising from:
- The quality or standard of work, clinical care, legal services, or recruitment services provided by any user
- The condition, legality, safety, title, or delivery of Marketplace goods, or conduct of Marketplace buyers or sellers
- Any delay, failure, or refusal by a professional, practice, firm, agency, or Real Estate partner to respond, attend, or complete work
- Any dispute between users (including non-payment for offline services, property matters, or Marketplace items)
- Employment outcomes, placement fees, or hiring decisions related to Careers
- Property sale or let outcomes, accuracy of partner stock, or third-party property websites synced by partners
- Giveback charity outcomes, donation amounts (which are not public), prize eligibility, draw results, or unpaid prizes where we cannot verify a winner
- Reliance on platform content as medical or legal advice
- Decisions made by automated or AI-assisted moderation or helper systems (subject to your non-excludable legal rights)
- Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of third-party services (including PayPal, eBay, hosting, email, or AI providers), or issues with eBay import data accuracy
- Any financial loss, consequential loss, or indirect loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation). The platform is provided “as is” with no warranties of any kind beyond those required by law.
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Interactive Enterprises Limited harmless from claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform, content you submit (including Marketplace listings, stall content, Property listings, feeds, and eBay imports), goods you sell or give away, services you provide offline, abuse of Giveback voting or prize programmes, or any contract you enter into with another user, except to the extent caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.
19. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time (including when we add doors, plans, or features). The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process for material changes to paid services.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
